Hindmata Shikshan Mandal has started Mohanrao Patangrao Patil Mahavidyalaya (College) at Borgaon with the intension to provide modern education to new generation for the rural area in 2001. This college is recognized by Government of Maharashtra and Shivaji University, Kolhapur. This is a single faculty college providing education in ‘Arts’. For last 22 years it is impacting new skills of life to the students of this area, majority of them are girl students. Large number of students have obtained university degree and joined service in various organization. We now have set a target to top Academically in Shivaji University in next three years. From academic year 2008-2009, College and Management has started a Center to guide students for competitive exams like- U.P.S.C., M.P.S.C., Banking, Insurance, Staff Selection Commission, etc. College is also implementing various Programs – Social issues, Personality Development, to develop individual skills.
